Wishing you a fantastic birthday and a great year ahead, !
We are excited to launch myNCS, Nelson County Schools’ new identity management system powered by Rapid Identity, a platform required for all districts by the KDE. Replacing Google as our primary provider, myNCS centralizes and secures all your work accounts in one place. Claiming your myNCS account will establish a single password for all district access—including email, computer logins, Infinite Campus, and Google. This is the first of several communications from the Technology Department as we guide everyone through the onboarding process.
What to Expect?
You will receive a personalized email from noreply@rapididentity.com and text message from 432886 containing a unique claim code linked to your user information.
Please click on the button below for additional steps.
IMPORTANT DATE: We will be transitioning to this system on 9/16: All accounts must be claimed by 9/16. If you haven’t claimed your account by 9/16 then you risk not being able to access your email and computer. To gain access after this date you will need to complete the claim process.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Will "Sign in with Google" still work?
Yes. You can continue using the "Sign in with Google" button on your usual apps; it will simply redirect you to log in with your new myNCS credentials.
What is a "virtual identity"?
It is your single digital account (Single Sign-On or SSO) for all Nelson County Schools platforms. myNCS centralizes this identity to make your access more secure and streamlined.
